Dr. Laura Summers

My name is Dr. Laura Summers, I am a native Californian and a 1998 graduate of UC Davis Veterinary School. I have a background that covers multiple disciplines within veterinary medicine, with experience in small animal private practice, large animal medicine, teaching, exotic animal medicine, and scientific research.

Background
After being involved in many aspects of veterinary medicine, I observed a deficiency in the way end-of-life care is addressed with companion animals. These emotional and difficult times of transition are often best facilitated in a setting that is comfortable and familiar, to both the family and the pet.
