Sacramento In Home Pet Euthanasia

Sacramento Mobile Pet Euthanasia

Since the moment Sacramento Valley Veterinary Services was founded, our commitment to our community in Sacramento, especially Elk Grove, has stood fast. We feel strongly about not only providing excellent end-of-life veterinary care to our local families’ pets, but also giving back to the community that we hold so dear to our hearts. Here you’ll find a handful of organizations in Elk Grove and Northern California that Sacramento Valley Vet Servies supports.

Badger Creek 4-H Club, Elk Grove

4-H is a premier program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), that promotes youth development, facilitates learning, and engages youth in their communities through hands-on, educational activities. There are 4-H programs all over the country, and we are fortunate to have the Badger Creek 4-H Club here in Elk Grove.  Many of these activities are focused around animals, which is where we come in.  We take an active role with membership, as well as, financial and time donations to Badger Creek 4-H in Elk Grove.

Pleasant Grove FFA

FFA, or Future Farmers of America, is similar to 4-H but is specific to agriculture.  This program is about student development for those who are interested in a future in agriculture. Their motto is “serve without limits, lead without borders”, and we couldn’t agree more.  Just like our local 4-H club, we’re incredibly fortunate to have a group like this in Elk Grove, and we’re proud to support them and their dedication to youth in agriculture.

Project R.I.D.E

Project R.I.D.E. Inc. is an incredible program in Elk Grove that offers therapeutic, recreational horseback riding instruction to riders with disabilities and special needs. Project R.I.D.E. is dedicated to improving physical, emotional, and social functioning through participation in a highly structured and safe program.  Click HERE for more information and about ways you can also support Project R.I.D.E.

UC Davis Center for Companion Animal Health

It is no secret that California’s very own UC Davis is a world renown veterinary school, but did you know how significant their research programs are? Many of the advancements in veterinary medicine that you are probably using at home for your pets and that we use in our practice, have been developed at UC Davis. For this reason, we are proud to support their continued efforts and dedication to animal science and to the advancement of veterinary medicine.

Elk Grove Animal Services – Vaccine Clinics

Elk Grove Animal Services and Sacramento Valley Vet Services recognize the importance of preventive veterinary care in our community. These low-cost vaccine clinics in Elk Grove make it easier for local pet owners to keep their pets healthy which directly helps prevent outbreaks of diseases that could affect both animals and humans.

In Conclusion

As Sacramento Valley Veterinary Services looks to the future, our commitment to serving the greater Sacramento community, and especially programs within Elk Grove, will always remain strong. We plan to continue to be of service to our community by donating our time and financial support to these programs that support our youth and enrich our community.
